Teneille Venter is a lecturer and researcher at Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT), in Cape Town, South Africa. Teneille graduated with her PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy, specializing in Sport and Exercise Science. She graduated in 2022 at the University of the Western Cape (UWC), in Cape Town, South Africa. Teneille is an emerging researcher where she has recently published articles and working papers in the field of sport and exercise science, physical education in schools, management in Higher Education Institutions. She also has an active role as a member of dynamic international collaborative projects, both past and present. She believes much is gained from these projects of a global nature for both academics and students. Teneille also focuses on community engagement projects, passionately serving communities through CPUT and in a private capacity. She is particularly focused on APD (Association of People with Disabilities) for 2023 and how students from CPUT can interact, gain knowledge and experience and better these organisations. Teneille is active in her area of expertise as a member of the HPCSA in the capacity of a registered Biokineticist and AIESEP member as a Young Researcher. Teneille is on her faculty Scientific review committee board reviewing post graduate proposals, she is also on the committees of community engagement, Teaching and Learning as well as Health and Safety. Teneille has a passion for encouraging active and healthy living for all.
