Olivia Akumu is an accomplished human mobility and migration researcher, analyst and project manager with over a decade of experience developing and coordinating humanitarian action in acute crises and using research data to expand the knowledge base and discourse on migration dynamics across Eastern and Southern Africa. Olivia holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manchester, UK and a Master of Laws in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from the University of Essex, UK.
